I am trying to support a user who calls me every few days to let me know that Paratext has "stopped working again". ... this? and if so, what did you do? Any other suggestions?

Paratext won't mark \xt text as linked in Extra Books, so how do I tell Paratext these books contain cross-references?
We use \xt ...\xt* all the time in Paratext and in many places, like Topical Index, Read through the Bible ... Scripture Reference Book Names. XXA Lit. Liturgy Sunday Liturgy etc.
