We are able to send and receive as normal but when we try and start a PT live session we get the following box.

Paratext could not connect to the internet server or lost its connection to the internet server.

We are running PT 9.4.

When we try this on the secondary server it says that there might be a firewall problem.  But we are not running a firewall and we have not had any problems on live sessions until now.

The security certificate on the server expired and we just got the update completed.

Both the primary and secondary PTLive servers should now be working again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

In answer to the question, what do we do when we can't connect to the Live server, the most basic choice would be to temporarily use another program (Zoom, WhatsApp, Google Meet, etc) to share screens. John pointed out the reason for the recent failure and hopefully this is fixed, but when it isn't working you should at least be able to view one user's screen and then do S/R. Not ideal, but an option.
