A user says "we are translating only a selection of Leviticus in this stage of our project. How do we tell Paratext not to report that chapters and verses are missing?"

This is cumbersome but it can be done with a custom versification file. (custom.vrs)
(for more background, read the help file "how do I implement a custom versification for my project")
To omit whole chapters, put in a zero after the chapter number in section 1:, for example this will omit everything in Lev except chapter 19:

#section 1 amended chapter lengths
Lev 1:0 2:0 3:0 4:0 5:0 6:0 7:0 8:0 9:0 10:0 11:0 12:0 13:0 14:0 15:0 16:0 17:0 18:0 20:0 21:0 22:0 23:0 24:0 25:0 26:0 27:0

to omit verses from a chapter you want to include, cite them with a minus sign in section 2
for example if you want only Lev 19:1-2, 12, 18ff omit the other verses like this:

-Lev 19:4
-Lev 19:5
-Lev 19:6
-Lev 19:7
-Lev 19:8
-Lev 19:9
-Lev 19:10
-Lev 19:11
-Lev 19:13
-Lev 19:14

The painful part of this last part is you cannot omit a range of verses, you have to list each verse to omit individually.
