Paratext freezes up

Question

When I have Paratext 9 open and work in my Project file. I also have the Word list open.
When there is a word in my project not written correctly and I right click on it of course there is a window that should open with some words like the one I clicked on,and the word lis talso start looking for something and then the program freezes up. So the solution is to not turn the Word list on!! But I need it on to work with. I checked the memory that the computer is using was in the 60 % (66-67) so it should work I think.What do you think? Any answers.

It is possible it is a computer problem. Is your system slow in other scenarios, has it crashed or auto restarted in the past? If you haven’t done it lately, you could try uninstalling/reinstalling PT9 to verify the installed files are not corrupt.

You could look at event viewer to see if Windows has crashed.

Here’s a snapshot of the Windows Logs system.( B.t.w. I’m using 8 Gb RAM but ordered 16 to double the size. I usually work with several programs open of which Paratext is probably the heaviest. Although I notice that Firefox uses quite a bit of the memory as well.)
