I have a task that I want to work on during more than one stage of my project plan, how do I configure a plan to do this?

The recommendation is to always place tasks in the stage in which it needs to be completed. Therefore place the task in the stage where it should be completed, then set the configuration “When can this task start” to the earliest stage that this task can be worked on. The larger more complex tasks such as parallel passages and checking Biblical terms renderings might be easier for some teams if they were spread over more than on stage. It gives more time and flexibility in completed these and other time consuming tasks.

The available “When can this task start?” settings have been simplified and it is no longer possible to configure a task to start during a specific earlier stage. You can configure a task to begin as soon as the previous stage has been completed, or you can use the “Anytime” setting that will allow a task to be worked on during any previous stage. This setting should be used with caution, because if there are too many with this setting or several books being worked on at the same time, then merge conflicts are much more likely.
