The user is using Keyman 9.0.528.0 with PT8.0.100.35

The same typing sequence works in PT7.

They type ‘f’ (for ka 0915), ‘s’ (for aa 093E) and then type ‘[’ to change the the aa (093E) into an o (094b).
In PT7 that resutls in ko (0915 0948) in the text, but when they type ‘[’ in PT8 the ka disappears and all that is left is o (094B) in the text.

Thanks

We saw another Keyman/Paratext 8 oddity last week. The fix for that one also seems to fix this one, when I test it. It seems that having Keyman interact with the Microsoft Text Services Framework is problematic in Paratext 8 right now. Here is a procedure for disabling the TSF integration.

For Keyman 10 users, the registry tree is different, you put the value in this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Keyman\Keyman Engine\10.0
