Using Locally available resources in PT8

Question

I recall it mentioned somewhere in the setup that locally available resources can be installed in pt8. I’m not seeing how to do this without having to register the resource as a new project. Can this be done?

What format is the locally available resource in? A zip file? File > Restore project from file… should allow you to import a locally available zipped resource. You don’t need to register the project, as far as I can see, unless you want ‘full Paratext functionality’.
