I have successfully migrated my project to PT8. Now I'm trying to update my colleague's machine with S/R via USB ( ... by the way-is that normal?), and rebooted my machine.
In the context of a colleague's virus scanner (panda) producing what I sincerely hope is a false-positive match on the PT8 ... repository of course but that's a bit much to ask.
