I am using Paratext 9.1. I registered a new project: Loko (Lok). “Registration type: Publisher Tier (issued 2 months ago)”. The registration has completed the reviews. “Internal and external review complete (as of 5 days ago)”

Should it be showing up in send and receive?

Thank you

In order for a project to show up in the Send/Receive the Administrator must set it up for S/R by going to the Project Settings > User Permissions…

Here is a quick video showing the process:

Thanks anon848905, and thanks for the video. Good work. However, I can’t figure out how to even open my newly registered project to be able to get into its settings and permissions. It doesn’t appear under “open project / resource”

Thanks

Hmm. I love mysteries. How did you create the project? When you go to the Open Project/Resource is the box for projects selected? From the registry it doesn’t look like the project has ever been pushed. Presumably you had the project on your computer when you registered it. Did you delete the project? it might be best to schedule a help session.

Hi anon848905,

Thanks for your help. It had been a few years since I set up a new project so I wasn’t very confident as to how to do it. When I was setting up to start the Loko NT Revision project I went to New Project in the main Paratext menu and just followed the prompts which included submitting a request for a registration. It never showed up as a project (unregistered or registered) in Paratext on my computer. I don’t think I would have deleted it. I did made a secondary unregistered project with a similar name “Loko New Testament Revision (LNTR)” so I could start working on it while it was going through the registration process. I guess I was thinking that the Registered version would show up under “open” or when I did a “send and receive” but it hasn’t shown up. I was going to then transfer my work from my unregistered version into the registered project.

I am in PNG, presently out at a center, on a bit of a break from the tribe, so pretty much anytime is good for me to call within the next few days. (except for tomorrow morning PNG time as we are going to spend the day in town). Let me know when it would be good to call you on Skype. Or we use Whatsapp a lot since it is totally free when we have wifi or a data connection. My number on Whatsapp is [Phone Removed].

Thanks again,
