Apologies if this has already been asked/discussed or is in a manual somewhere!

I’m wondering if there is a way to check whether our cross references list the books of the Bible in order and are formatted correctly.
E.g. to pick up this error:
Psalm 132:11; 2 Samuel 7:12-13

And errors such as:
Luke 3:2, 12; Luke 4:8
(Which should be Luke 3:2, 12; 4:8)

I’ve run the basic check for references, but these were not picked up.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to enforce certain style choices (forcing references to be in order or only specifying the book once). Since they aren’t errors as far as USFM is concerned, Paratext accepts either format so you’ll have to manually check them.

Feel free to use Help > Give feedback to suggest having an option to enforce those rules, but no promises on when/if it might get done.
