When I do a send/receive for a project, I receive changes that the translator has made to the text, but PT does not appear to be including changes to the custom.sty and PrintDraft-mods.sty stylesheets. Aren’t changes to those supposed to be included in the send/receive? Is there a way to check that they are, and make sure that they are - in case a link was somehow inadvertently broken?
Thanks,

The only way I know to see if it is sending the changes is to look at the date of the custom.sty and see if it has changed. Or you could make a change to the custom.sty (add color to a style for instance) and see if it gets sent to everyone.

I had a look at the date, and it didn’t change - so even though the translator had made a change to custom.sty and had then done a send/receive, I didn’t get it despite doing a send/receive after the change (and send/receive on his end) was done.
Oddly enough, in the box that comes up with a shortlist of the changes that had been made since the last send/receive, it would show that the translator had edited the stylesheet (as well as the book he’s working in at the moment), but the change wasn’t actually made in the custom.sty for that project on my computer. I’ve been doing some experimental typesetting for him, which is how we discovered the problem with custom.sty not getting updated on my computer.
I tried deleting the project from my computer and doing a send/receive to download it again. That worked fine - but didn’t solve the problem with the stylesheet changes not coming through.

@anon975943, Can you send me a PM with the name of the project so I can take a look at this?

And just to clarify: You’re looking at the custom.sty file in your project’s directory, not directly in the My Paratext 8 Projects directory, right?

EDIT: Another thought: Are you also making changes to the custom.sty file?
