Two computers, same user

Question

I am the administrator of our translation projects. I have two computers. Can I run Paratext on both with the same Registration name and work on the same projects, or do I need to create for myself a new user for the other computer. The two computers would not be run at the same time.

You can use the same registration on both computers, but that makes it even more important that you do a S/R before and after switching computers. If you don’t do a S/R on both computers when switching, you can create merge conflicts with yourself, which Paratext doesn’t always handle well.

My data lives in “My Paratext 8 Projects” folder in my main computer. Installation process on the secondary computer wants to create “My Paratext 9 Projects” folder. Is this OK?
