I just learned that the first KTOT articles are available for Paratext. I downloaded the file KTOTSLD.p8z from the website, but couldn’t just move it over to the /usr/lib/Paratext9/Dictionaries folder, where the other .p8z dictionaries are–I didn’t have “permission” to do that… So I did a “sudo cp” command and moved it over. When I open and run PT9, however, KTOT doesn’t appear in the list of available Dictionaries (uber menu > Open > select “Dictionaries”). Any hints on how to get it to display? Thanks!

The dictionaries in /usr/lib/paratext9/ will only be used the first time you run Paratext 9.

Files are copied to the users home directory:
~/Paratext8Projects/_Dictionaries.

Try copying the file into there.

I’m not a regular Linux user, but does it make a difference if you launch Paratext with the sudo command?

Please don’t do that.

Launching Paratext with sudo could cause files to be created with the wrong permissions, meaning that you would always have to run it with sudo. Running with sudo might also produce other problems.

Yes, the directory will be different if you had Paratext 8 first then upgraded to PT9, or if you never had PT8 and install Paratext 9.

Los Términos Clave del AT (KTOT) deberían ser un recurso que, por el momento, debe instalarse manualmente. ... interacciones entre estos dos recursos, pero parecen ser continuas.

Hi folks. I'm using PT9 under Wasta Linux. PT8 had a nifty feature where I could mouse-over a Greek or Hebrew ... sorted, I'll largely be sticking with PT8. Cheers, anon898633.

Tengo el mismo recurso (actualización) de NBS11+ que mi traductor. Para mí, las definiciones del diccionario aparecen ... causa de este problema? Él necesita realmente el francés.
