When we open PT-8, we get this message as in screen shot. I tried holding Shift and open. Re-installed the whole new PT-8
Still the problem is there.

Some unexpected error must be occurring as the settings are being created - since this message is only shown when the settings are deleted.

Dear John+Wickberg, This issue is still occurring even though we tried changing the user. Admin user also gives the same dialog box.
