I have one user that has unusual system fonts displayed in many dialog boxes within PT8. The main screen looks fine. If I could find out which font is being used there, perhaps I could remove and reinstall it.

Arial looked fine in Fonts folder.

I updated video driver, no change.

I uninstalled PT8, rebooted, disabled AV and installed PT8, no change.

It happens in other windows as well, but it most easily reproduced in Help Window.

Submitted PTXS-18617 from user’s laptop.

The help text is displayed in Arial - since this is a system font, it isn’t easy to reinstall.

You could at least look at how it displays the sample text in Windows\Fonts

Fixed by reinstalling Arial Font from admin cmd prompt:

C:\Windows\Fonts\Arial.ttf
