In the last couple of days I have noticed that I am not able to make any changes to the roles and permissions on BT or Auxiliary projects.
Incidentally, at the same time, I noticed that in Project properties and settings, I am able to change the type of translation, on a BT project, which I couldn’t before.
When I go to Project properties and settings on a BT or Auxiliary project, I get a message saying
Unable to access the registry server, please try again when your internet connection is restored.
I have only noticed this since the update to version 25, but hadn’t tried to modify BT settings in a few weeks. This happened on two different computers of mine, as well as the computer of a coworker, on 3 different projects.
Has anyone else been encountering this issue?
I went ahead and booted up in Linux, to see if the the same problem existed in the Linux version of Paratext, and I was able to add a user to a BT project without any difficulty.
Thanks
BEH

This should be fixed in 8.0.100.29.

Editing permissions are copied from Paratext 7 to Paratext 8 during migration. This can potentially cause problems ... Permissions can interact and use the appropriate caution.
