I've got an endnote that looks like this:

\fe + \fr 3:25 \fq [sacrifice] \ft [some translations say] «\+w [mercy seat]\+w*»។\fe*

Paratext rejects the \+w markup, highlighting it in red. In an ordinary footnote, it doesn't cause problems. Is this by design?

Our project uses USFM 3.

This works for me. The markers are controlled by the usfm.sty file and then any custom.sty file that is also applied to the project. The current version of usfm.sty does include the fe marker as part of the OccursUnder for the \w marker.

It is possible that someone created a custom.sty file in the project folder that has different markers in the OccursUnder.

Thanks, we found that our custom.sty file was the problem.
