I have noticed that Paratext has continued to produce stutters in my system, and I may have it narrowed down some, but wanted to see if y'all had more input. By stutters, i mean I will click on something and it will take 3-7 seconds to respond - sometimes on clicking a different verse, following a verse link, or most egregiously (15+ seconds) the spelling correction tool. I have not done full testing on this yet, but I think enhanced resources may also slow it down even more.  I do not have 'show all chapters' checked.

With this, I noticed where Paratext (tested on 9.4.101.1 and 9.5.109.1) will only use up to 5% cpu usage.  At first I thought this may just be because it is single threaded, however, upon watching the utilization graph, none of my cores would actually hit 100% when paratext is at 5% utilization.

I have also payed close attention to my disk usage, but that never even tops 2% usage (it's nvme, so plenty of headroom even if I don't have the fastest)

Also, I have plenty of open ram and hard disk space.

Paratext is mainly single-threaded. Most operations related to navigation are run in a single thread. A single thread running max on your machine would use 5% usage (one core of your twenty). Because of the way Windows schedules threads, no one core will get that entire usage - it's always spread across cores (i.e. one core will run it for a while, then it will switch to another thread many times a second). So, basically, Paratext is trying to do too much.

To help you with what is going on, if your project is not sensitive, a screenshot of your entire main window (and any other floating windows) would help. Otherwise, using Help > Give feedback can give us more information, and will be private.
