I'm trying to troubleshoot for someone remotely, which is always difficult.

He says that he typed in a full chapter of new translation into PTLite, but when he did a S/R half of it disappeared. I've checked the Mercurial history and the data never got sent to the server, so it seems like it's truly gone.

Is it possible that his work wasn't "saved" when he did the S/R? What triggers a save in PTLite. I know in Paratext, along with Ctrl-s, moving to different chapters (and other things) make the data get saved. Is there anything like that in PTLite, or should it be saving everything on the fly?

This project was recently converted to a Daughter project. Prior to that conversion he didn't have problems, but he does now. I'm not 100% sure the timing is the same, but it seems like it's the only significant change. Does marking the check boxes in a Daughter project affect whether the data would be saved or not?

[edit: He is on the Android version of PTLite. This is to differentiate between another question which I'm posting at the same time]

This doesn't seem likely, Paratext Lite makes sure everything is saved before S/R.

Pressing Ctrl-S does force a save, but Paratext Lite automatically saves based on various actions, eg. changing chapter, or switching to another pane, inserting a note, S/Ring etc.

Based on what you described, I can't think why this would make a difference.

Is it possible to get the user to "Submit feedback" from their device? The log might tell us the cause of this.

Also if could you let me know the name of the Project then I could take a look at that as well.
