Voici une question connexe. J’ai travaillé sur la configuration d’un profil PTXPrint (assez complexe) dans un projet. Maintenant, je veux repartir de zéro dans un nouveau projet Paratext. La configuration de l’ancien projet s’affiche par défaut lorsque j’ouvre PTXPrint pour la première fois. Mais si je change le projet Paratext sélectionné, tous les détails de cette première configuration semblent être repris dans le nouveau projet… y compris les liens vers des fichiers de l’ancien projet, de sorte que lorsque je lui demande d’effectuer sa première impression, il plante en raison de fichiers manquants ! (Plus précisément : les paramètres personnalisés ptxprint-mods.tex étaient cochés, mais ce fichier n’existait pas dans ce projet.) Lorsque vous sélectionnez un nouveau projet Paratext qui n’a jamais été sélectionné dans PTXPrint, PTXPrint ne devrait-il pas créer un profil par défaut pour ce travail ? Il y a un avantage à pouvoir copier les paramètres d’un projet dans un nouveau projet depuis un ancien projet, mais il me semble qu’il faut simplement commencer à travailler dans un nouveau projet avec une page blanche, afin que l’impression initiale puisse se produire sans planter au moins ! Peut-être plus tard, vous pourriez sélectionner un projet et une configuration différents, puis sélectionner le projet cible et lui donner un nouveau nom de fichier de configuration. S’il voit que vous avez déjà fait du travail PTXPrint dans ce projet, il permettrait alors de copier les paramètres. (Mais je ne sais pas, c’est assez complexe… Peut-être qu’il suffit d’avoir un bouton Réinitialiser tous les paramètres, pour pouvoir obtenir un paramètre par défaut de base qui devrait toujours fonctionner.)
Here is a related question. I worked on setting up a PTXPrint configuration (fairly complex) in one project. Now I want to start from scratch in a new Paratext project. The configuration for the old project shows up by default when I first open PTXPrint. But if I change the Paratext project selected, all of the details of that first configuration seem to be carried over into the new project… including links to files from the old project, so that when I tell it to do its first Print, it crashes with missing files! (Specifically: the customized settings ptxprint-mods.tex was checked, but that file didn’t exist in this project.) When you select a new Paratext project that has never been selected in PTXPrint, shouldn’t PTXPrint create a default profile for that job? There is some advantage to being able to copy project settings into a new project from an old project, but it seems to me like just starting to work in a new project need to be given a clean slate, so the initial Print can happen without crashing at least! Maybe later on you could select a different project and configuration, then select the target project and give it a new configuration file name. If it sees that you have already done some PTXPrint work in that project, then it would allow the settings to be copied over. (But I don’t know, that’s pretty complex… Maybe you just need a Reset All Settings button, to be able to get a basic default setting that should always work.)
