J'ai aidé à dépanner un projet où les Paramètres de références bibliques ont signalé plusieurs conflits entre les noms de livres définis dans les paramètres et ceux utilisés dans le texte. Le projet est configuré pour utiliser la normalisation NFD. Il s'avère qu'au moins certains de ces conflits sont dus à des types de caractères mélangés dans les paramètres (par exemple, parfois â [\u00e2] est utilisé, et parfois â [\u0061\u0302]). Ce serait formidable si le texte saisi dans cette fenêtre de paramètres (ou peut-être est-ce limité à l'onglet Noms de livres ?) était automatiquement normalisé selon le paramètre de normalisation des caractères.

En outre, note marginale, mais pour une raison inconnue, certains de ces noms de livres se sont retrouvés avec des espaces insécables de largeur nulle [\ufeff] au début de la chaîne. Je n'ai aucune idée de la façon dont cela pourrait se produire.

Veuillez signaler les bogues ou faire des suggestions de modifications à Paratext en utilisant la fonctionnalité « Donner un avis » de Paratext. Les développeurs examinent souvent ces questions, mais il n'y a aucune garantie que quelque chose suggéré sur ce site sera ajouté à la file d'attente de prise en charge.

En attendant, si vous savez que Paratext normalise le texte et que les deux entrées en conflit semblent identiques, vous devriez pouvoir sélectionner l'option de texte et l'approuver.

Quant à la question des espaces insécables de largeur nulle - l'équipe utilise-t-elle une correction automatique qui pourrait les insérer ? Ou pourraient-ils avoir été copiés depuis un autre endroit ?

Thanks for the reminder to use the "Give Feedback" feature. But what if other users have the same problem or suggestion or feedback? They aren't able to see feedback that has already been given this way and are unaware of what has been tried, or if there are any workarounds, or even if the idea has been considered and will later be implemented or discarded.

Yes, you're right about probably being able to just overwrite the settings with the actual text in the case of the mismatched character encoding. But I couldn't be sure that that was the only source of the conflicts. What if there were other "hidden" \uFEFFs, but in the text instead of the settings? I ended up checking out the unicode representation of each settings string in a different program and making sure the correct characters were used.

I can't answer the question about the source of the zero-width, non-breaking space. I doubt they are using AutoCorrect, but I can find out. My initial assumption was that it was introduced somehow by copy/pasting text, but I still don't know where they would have copied the text from other than Paratext itself. Maybe a Word document a long time ago (>10-15 years), if initial drafting was done that way?

Lorsqu'on donne des références bibliques qui s'étendent sur plusieurs chapitres, l'équipe Komba préfère les marquer comme suit : 1: ... est trop long et n'est pas agréable à l'œil.

I am an administrator for several translation projects which need to change their normalization settings from None to Decomposed ... files be updated to reflect this? Thank you.
