Is there a way to see times that Send/Receive is run by a project user? I couldn't find that info in Paratext registry. Send/receive only shows dates. Clicking on the 3-letter book code next to changes on a Send/Receive shows the time those are performed on Send/Receive, but I don't see a way to find the time when Send/Receive doesn't produce any changes, such as at the start of a workday.
I'm trying to track MTT hours remotely, and they're not really good at doing this manually, so there are some times they don't tell me when they start or finish working on a certain day, and I'm looking for ways to fill in missing info.

Hi. I understand that you are looking for Paratext to be able to tell you what time the translation team started or stopped working.

I don't think we have any option in Paratext that can tell you if there was a send/receive.
Also, the date and time that you can see when you see a change in the text (like what you see when you click on the blue letters in a book) shows you the time that edit was made, not the s/r.

But even if there were that option, it seems to me that it would not be entirely useful to you. Because the first or last edit in Paratext does not necessarily mean that the work was started/finished at that time. For example, the team may start the day talking about a pending biblical term but not edit anything until 1 hour later.

In registry.paratext you could see the last time someone has used the program, if you have the necessary accesses. But again, checking that every day would not be automatic, nor a guarantee of when the work day started.

Saludos,
Pepe.

Where in registry.paratext can I see the last time someone used the program? I am an Administrator on the Project, so I should have a good level of permissions, unless registry.paratext has a different level of permissions for their site. The closest I can see is under the user's profile, which tells the last use (for only one of my MTTs), and that closely matches the last send/receive, which is always the one at the end of the day. Is there anywhere else I can look for more send/receive information?

If you expand a user's information and then hover over the date in the history you will see a pop-up with the time.

That is an easier and quicker way to view the time my MTTs send their days work when they're done, thank you. However, it still doesn't tell me when they did a send/receive to receive my work from the previous day before starting their work at the beginning of the day.
The history should record each time a user does a Send/Receive, opens the history, records a history point, or does a Find/Replace. You should be able to check to see when the first activity was done at the beginning of the day. Look for the first change of the particlar date.
Phil, I don't know how to access this info in the history. Can you tell me how to access that info? I only see their send/receives when there have been changes made. For myself, I also see times I've done find/replace or changed spellings of words and things like that, but not when I do my send/receive at the beginning of the work day.
Under the project menu go to Recent Changes. Expand the information for the user you are interested in (or yourself) and you should see all of the dates (and then times).

This is what I see. I hovered over 2024-01-12, and it only gives the send/receive at the end of my day, not any other date stamp information from when I worked and when I did my send/receive at the beginning of my day.

Hmm - you are correct. If there are no changes then Paratext doesn't record any history point. So, it records the point in the evening after all the work is done, but in the morning if there have been not changes, then nothing is recorded. Sorry I led you down a false trail.
Shucks. Thanks for trying, Phil. I'll see if anyone else comes up with something. I know the information is probably logged in Paratext, just not sure how to access it.
