La recherche d'éléments de menu et d'aide dans la boîte de recherche est très utile dans PT9, mais elle pourrait être encore plus utile.
Pour beaucoup, le français est une deuxième ou une troisième langue, et ainsi, par exemple, dans Word, Gmail ou Google, ils ont l'habitude de taper du texte français sans accents et de laisser le correcteur orthographique ajouter/interpréter les accents. Parfois, un clavier de langue minoritaire est actif lorsqu'ils ont besoin de rechercher de l'aide dans Paratext.
Si je tape « Passages », j'obtiens « Passages parallèles », mais si je tape « references », je n'obtiens rien en français, car l'orthographe correcte est « références ». (J'obtiens plusieurs menus qui ne sont pas encore traduits dans Paratext 9.3.)

Cela serait très utile si l'aide trouvait les mots avec et sans diacritiques, et l'utilisateur aura plus de chances de trouver ce qu'il cherche.
La demande de fonctionnalité est de normaliser/configurer la recherche afin que la recherche de « references » ou « références » corrige automatiquement et trouve tout le contenu pertinent. J'attends que cette fonctionnalité aide d'autres langues, comme l'espagnol et le portugais.

Searching for menu items and help in the search box is very helpful in PT9, but it could be more helpful.
For many, French is a second or third language, and so, for example, in Word, Gmail, or Google, they have a habit of typing French text without accents and letting spellcheck add/interpret the accents. Sometimes a minority language keyboard is active when they need to search for help in Paratext.
If I type “Passages”, I get “Passages parallèles”, but if I type “references”, I don’t get anything in French, as the correct spelling is “références”. (I do get several menus that are yet to be translated in Paratext 9.3.)

It would be most helpful if the help found words with and without diacritics, and the user will be more likely to find what they are looking for.
The feature request is to normalize/configure the search so that searching “references” or “références” will autocorrect and find all of the relevant content. I expect that this feature would help other languages, such as Spanish and Portuguese.
