I am trying to find a non print way of marking passages. So that we can flag the name of the translator and the dialect he speaks. I’m thinking a USFM. Does anyone have any ideas.

The \rem marker can be used for non-print remarks, but you could also do this with notes. Put a note at the beginning of the chapter and identify the information.

anon848905, thanks. that is helpful. Simon

anon848905 is there a way to use \REM or something else that only the senior translator and consultant can see? For example, I put the names and dates that I do UNS checks with my UNS checkers. But they don’t want their names to be visible to other UNS checkers. Is there a way for these comments to only be visible to me and the consultant and NOT to other uns checkers? anon441204

Within a project, there is no way to write private messages. If you need to be able to communicate with a consultant or other person apart from other team members you could use a Consultant Notes project. You can search help for: Introduction to Consultant Notes projects
