This image is a screenshot of the results of a search for “Paratext” in my list of installed applications.

Are all of the Paratext 8 instances required? Can I uninstall all but the latest installed(8.0.63 as of this posting)?

The “Paratext 8 Packages” is a part of your 8.0.63 installation. The other two entries should be able to be removed. anon291708’s answer is correct - this happens from installing a new P8 version without uninstalling the previous one.

This happens if the previous version is not uninstalled. For automatic updates, the previous version is automatically uninstalled whenever a new base version (ending in .1) is installed. However, because of the way Paratext installs, this needs to happen manually if you install a new base version manually.

Thank you, I’ve uninstalled the older versions.

Several people have encountered the situation where after uninstalling one version the other versions can not be uninstalled. One recommendation is that you use RevoUninstaller to remove the other versions.
