How does Mailing list mode work on this list?

I was poking around in settings and I noticed I have the option to use this forum in Mailing list mode. So I created this post to see what happens in my email box, and if that makes it possible to respond via email.

Of course, the site might be smart enough to know that I am writing this message and might choose not to send it to me :frowning:

I tried replying to this via email but apparently [Email Removed] does not exist.

That sounds like a bug. It is designed to have a mailing list mode, and if it isn’t working, we’ll try to fix it. Might not be the highest priority right now if you want to see Paratext 8 get out the door.
