Sometimes I get one of these error messages and sometimes PTX cannot find my projects. See attached files.

The Send/Receive internet server is up, so you must be getting a connection problem on your end.

The next time you see the message, send a problem report so we can look at what errors you are getting.

attached are the error messages I got
I should add that my internet is working for youtube, emails, etc.

I just can’t do a send and receive within Paratext.

Since you are an observer on my project, could you check to see if
anything is wrong with BNJ and BT2 ?

it keeps saying “connection to server is lost. Retrying…”

But it cannot connect.

I also ran diagnostics on my two projects in question an no errors were
found.
See attachments.

Thank God. My Paratext send receive is now working.

John+Wickberg,

My internet is working for youtube and emails etc but it seems to be
still not working for paratext (see attached file)

It doesn’t seem to be a general problem, so please send a problem report (use Help/Give feedback) since this will include a log that has details about what is failing.

The user was having issues with S/R not working correctly. After the user restarted Windows (I’m not sure if that was critical, but it is often a good idea) and did a Paratext reset, the S/R was working again.

As a general note about problems with Paratext - it is always an option to use the Paratext reset. You can read about this process at: https://paratext.org/?s=reset

Note that I don’t usually select Yes to report the issue unless it is repeated after the first reset. Many times the reset fixes the issue.
