Is it possible to explicitly unapprove a rendering in Biblical Terms? In particular, is it possible to say that specific terms definitely shouldn’t appear?

For example, could we make an accepted rendering of a term be “disciples”, while at the same time saying that if “twelve disciples” showed up that it should be rejected? Normally it would be marked as correct since “disciples” is a subset of “twelve disciples”. I’ve experimented and can’t seem to get regex to work in the Renderings window of the BibTerm tool.

Renderings do not allow regular expressions so, unfortunately, there isn’t a way to do what you are wanting.

Wordlist tool can do something like this but not the Biblical terms tool. I would make a note in the description box saying “do not every use X”
