Is there a way to copy cross references from a translated book to its back translation (BT)? I know there’s a way to do this globally (extract > copy, etc.), but the warning in the Help topic seems to indicate there’s no way to do this on a book-by-book basis, to wit: “Do not insert cross references from a model text until your project contains all the books, chapters, and verses you plan to translate (even if they are currently empty).” I’d love to be proven wrong on this! :stuck_out_tongue:

Certainly the retired (but can be reinstated) “Insert cross references or notes” script allows you to choose a particular book or books to insert references into.

But my guess is that if you used the new “Insert cross-references” function (which is said to be going to work in the PT 9.1 upgrade) then you could check the delete all existing cross-references option to obviate continual doubling up of the references every time you ran the script.

Maybe someone knows why that wouldn’t work or shouldn’t be done?
