I am trying to clear up the final errors in my project, and I’ve noticed that each cross reference is doubled. (E.g. \x - \xo 1.18 \xt Luka 1.27.\x*\x - \xo 1.18 \xt Luka 1.27.\x*)

What is the best way to get this down to just one?

I’m also seeing that in the parallel passage markers (/r) as well as in the cross references, all the books are marked as being invalid when I run the basic checks. I checked the Scripture Reference Settings and everything is spelled correctly according the Short Name (/toc2). Any ideas on how to fix this?

I would check these settings in the Scripture reference settings. Are these set to ShortName?

When you say that the references are doubled, do you mean that multiple error messages are appearing, or that the cross references are literally appearing twice in the text?

That was the problem, I forgot to set them to the Short Name.

The cross references are appearing twice in the text (E.g. **Isa ka to kumala, a vɛɛ:)

I’m not sure what could cause the doubling of the cross references, or the best way to handle it. Hopefully someone else can suggest a good way to handle that.

How were the cross references added? If you use the insert cross reference tool then you have the choice of deleting the old before adding the new. If that is not done then they could get doubled.

OK, thanks everyone. I was able to insert new cross references in the Advanced section and delete the old ones.
