Would someone be able to comment on if this is still the best way to restore a project? The original answer from ten years ago looks quite complicated.
Say for example, a consultant approves the book of Ruth and uses "Mark point in history" to document the fact. Meanwhile, the team continues to make improvements. A month later, the organization's app developer wants to add Ruth to the Scripture App, but in Paratext it's been changed since it was approved. If the app developer wants to add Ruth as it was on the day it was approved, how would he get that version? For example, I have editing rights to a project, but when I go to "Project History...", the button "Revert Books..." is grayed out, and I don't know why.
Perhaps, would it be best for the consultant to "Mark point in history" and also share a manual copy (backup) of the .SFM file, on the day he approves the book?
Thanks!
