Is it possible to have multiple Paratext registration codes associated with a single email address?

We’re considering a scheme where a translation team of more than 2 people might have only 2 email address: 1 for the team Coordinator and 1 for the team in general that they all share. Would it be possible for a team of 3 (or more) people to each have a Paratext registration if they only had 2 email addresses between them?

Here is a link with helpful information about registering. Note that the information is true for Paratext 8 and higher.

Perfect. Thanks for the info. I didn’t realize that the email address wasn’t mandatory.

The info on the How-To page you referenced says that “the administrator of a translation organization” can add people directly to the registry. Does this also apply then, as you seem to say above, to “the administrator of a translation project”?

So then, if a user at some point does need to generate a new code, this code is automatically send to the email address of the person who created the account for them?

If you are the administrator of at least one registered project you can add users to the registry through registry.paratext.org

If you register a user (and you have a valid email address - which I believe is a requirement) then the new code should be sent to your email address.

Great. Thanks.

A single email address can only be associated with one user. Each user is not required to have an email address. So, the team coordinator could register with the email address and then the team coordinator could register the other users (without emails). If a new code for Paratext needs to be generated then the could would be sent to the coordinator.
