In my project I sometimes employ the inline (character-level) markers \add … \add* to mark additions to the text. In Paratext Lite the opening \add marker is placed on a new line (but the closing one isn’t).
If I turn off “Show markers in editable projects”, the added text is displayed correctly (appearing in bold italic, but not on a new line).

Hi,

I just inserted \add markers into a test project, and they display on the same line for me.

Could you do a Main Menu -> More -> Submit Feedback (making sure Send screenshot is enabled)?

This way we will be able to examine the layout for your project.

Thanks.

Ok, I just did so.

Thanks for the problem report.

What appears to be happening is that due to the small horizontal width, the \add block is line breaking. (keeping the \add WORD\add* on the same line)

To see this is the case you could do one of the following:

  1. Flip your phone to landscape.
  2. Use a two fingered pinch on the screen to begin a zoom, and make the text a little smaller.
