Unable to update email address in registry

Question

I have a user that needs to remove their old SIL email address and replace it with their current Seed Company email. I logged in and attempted to make the change but receive the message “There was a problem adding [Email Removed]. Contact support or try again with a different email address”. I suspect that there is another account with this email address in the registry.

There is a very odd entry in the registry. There is no name nor organization.

I have changed the organization to The Seed Company so you (anon436952) should be able to find it by searching for his tsco email address in the User Area. From there you can delete that entry and then go to his legitimate entry to put in another or different email address.
