I’m training some colleagues to use Paratext Live and I’ve been asked if there’s a more detailed explanation of the capabilities of Paratext Live beyond what is found in the Paratext Live pop-up window’s “Help” link (which is very nearly the same text as this link on this site: [Link Removed]).

Is there an even more detailed reference document somewhere? They don’t have specific questions at this point, they’re just avid readers who would like to get as much info as possible!

It is not complex in that there are not many settings that users have available. What kinds of questions do they have? My problems were always about getting Windows peer to peer functions to work reliably.
The only thing I could find outside of Help was:

The Help in Paratext 9 seems like it covers everything. My advice is to add the computers one at a time for less problems. If you are using a local computer as the server, then it should be started first. Also, Paratext live syncs all the computers at the beginning. It will refuse to work if all the computers have not been sync’d with S/R recently. Doing a complete round of Send-and-Receives before beginning Paratext Live will give a better user experience.
