I have a problem after updating to 8.0.100.84. After runing the patch I started paratext and I saw access denied to C:\localUsers.txt which is a none existence in C:\ drive, rather it is in C:\My Paratext 8 Project folder. After failing to solve the issue I uninstalled PT 8 and try re-installing. But now, I did not get the correct path for the Project folder in the installation screen. Instead of getting Project folder to C:\My Paratext 8 Project it shows only C:\

Help me to solve this issue. Please refer to the screenshot

If you open Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Paratext\8

what is the value for “Settings_DIrectory” ? If that says “C:” can you change it to “C:\My Paratext 8 Projects” ?

(If you have a 32 bit Windows system, the registry path would be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Paratext\8)
