PT8 "Manage Plans" is not showing

Question

The Project Plan “Manage Plans” is not showing on v8.0.100.84

I reset settings, no effect. I installed PT9 and was able to workaround.

I’m seeing the Manage plans buttonand the Manage plan dialog appear in 8.0.100.85.

Comments

I was not implying it would always gone, but it got into that state some how.
Restarting PT9 & Resetting settings didn’t help.

listentwice - Do you see any orange warning message when you open the project plan? When I open some projects I can see the “Manage Plans” button, but others give a warning that because of the use of certain plan features, the plan must be edited in PT9. This should appear as an orange banner at the top of the window.

Prior to deletion it was a newer plan that could not be edited.
I then deleted the previous plan, one stage at a time.
After deletion I expected to be able to select a new plan, but I couldn’t.
So I installed 9.0 and selected a new plan.
