Cannot uninstall Paratext 9

Since I had problems with a major Windows update and Paratext 9 not working properly, I wanted to uninstall and re-install Paratext 9. When I try to use the offline or online installer for Paratext 9.0.63.1 it fails to uninstall the former and crippled version on my computer since it cannot find the file Paratext_9.0.62.1_Installer.msi. I do not have that file.

I cannot uninstall via Windows 10 Settings, removing apps or the Control Panel, since the Remove option is not present for Paratext 9 Packages. Any suggestions about what I can do? There are log files.

Do one of the following: In later versions of Windows, e.g. Windows 10, go to the Settings app and click Apps. ... and uninstall it (see discussion in posts #3 onwards, below).

Cannot see translator names on paratext 9 project title bar
Hi, in paratext 8, I can see the name of the users who have editing rights on the current chapter and book in the ... , these names are not displayed. Is there a reason for this?
