I’ve tried lxde and lubuntu desktop environments, and it i cannot edit translation, or view resources online for download.

Hi @anon731766,

In general we recommend Wasta Linux as the smoothest way to get things working. As you know Linux has many possible configurations, and we don’t have the resources to support each combination.

What exactly are the problems you are seeing?

Perhaps you could supply some screenshots to help describe the problems?

Also reporting problems from inside of Paratext using Help -> Report a Problem… , provides us with more diagnostics information.

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I totally get it. I CAN get it running in unity on ubuntu, but i’d love to use a lighter weight desktop. I get significant performance increase using lxde or lubuntu desktop… I’d guess the problem has something to do with QT and how it is handled in those environments.
