Hello, there seems to be a default setting for glossary entries that puts a star before the glossary entry–clear from the ‘Preview’ view. How can this default be changed in Paratext 8?
anon310509,
I am not aware of any place to change this within Paratext. One reason for not doing this is to avoid confusion with Footnote or Cross Reference callers that often follow words. Moving the asterisk to the end of a word is something that can usually be done in the publishing process.
I might add that putting the asterisk before shows the start of the word(s) to look for whereas if the glossary item is more than one word and the asterisk is after the last word it may be difficult to determine the preceding word(s) that are part of the glossary term.
