I have Paratext 8.0.100.4 and FLEx SE 8.3.10.43048 2017/11/09.

The Paratext project and FLEx project are successfully associated and I can successfully ‘find words in Dictionary’. When I have a word that is not found in the dictionary, when I click the Create button I get an Internal Error box with the following text "An internal error has occurred. Support has been notified. Exception: Paratext 8.0.100.4 system.ArgumentExcpetion CreateLexemeForm.cs:46

Any ideas?
Thank you,
MSEAIT/LT

We received some automatic Paratext error reports from you related to this
and I put one of the reports in our backlog of problems to fix.

The problem is that there must be a project that has an inconsistent
language code between the project settings and the .ldml file in the
project folder. I can’t tell which project this would be happening on - it
may not be the project that you have open since the error is happening when
a list of languages in all projects is being created.

If you look at the .ldml files under you “My Paratext 8 Projects” folder,
you can open the files in notepad an look for ‘<language type=“xyz”’ near
the beginning of the file. If you notice a file when the value in quotes
doesn’t match the name of the file, that is probably the project that is
causing the problem.

Once the project is found, let me know so I can try to see how the problem
occurred.

Thank you John+Wickberg, I will look through the various ldml files in my projects to see what I find. Being in Tech support, I have a lot of projects on my computer so it might take a while before I find which project has the inconsistency.

The latest version of Paratext is 8.0.100.36. Update your Paratext and see if that helps.

My Paratext 8 says that it is up to date. Is the 36.msp file available for download?

Sorry about the mixup. We found a crash when attempting to work on localizations in 8.0.100.36 that kept that version from going to everyone (it’s only to pre-release users). 8.0.100.35 is the most recent version.
