I was just experimenting with scheduling a Send/Receive, and I couldn’t find an option to tell Paratext where to do the scheduled Send/Receive (e.g., Internet, Network Shared Folder, etc). Are Scheduled S/Rs to the Internet only?

I was hoping to do one to the Internet and one to our local server so that I could automatically keep things in sync with the local server AND the Internet.

I can see this being useful in a number of different contexts too:

-A multi-language project with limited internet. Set all of the computers to do a scheduled S/R to a Chorus Hub, and then have 1 computer do a scheduled Internet S/R.
-In Ukarumpa, our computers are not always connected to the Internet (we have to login through a Captive Portal to get internet access), but we do have a Network Shared Folder that is local. Being able to have all translators automatically S/R to that network shared folder could help prevent data loss and help ensure better backup practices.

I can submit a feature request if that would help.

Thanks,

The scheduled Send/Receive always uses the last source that was used from the normal S/R dialog (i.e. if the last S/R used a network shared folder, then the scheduled S/R would be to a network shared folder).

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
