I recently ran into an issue with a fellow translator, and I wanted to see if any one else has had the issue, or has a solution.
A fellow translator was having issues with Paratext RegEx Pal in Paratext 8, When he tried to make changes, he got some error messages like, Could not write XXX, Multiple chapter numbers present, and Paratext Lock not obtained Exception.
I asked him to add me to the project, so I could troubleshoot the issues on my end. Well, in his Users Roles and permissions, I was already listed as a member (administrator), and he also had another user as an Observer. However, when I looked at the project in the project Registry, he is the only member of the project listed.
I also had him add another user, and when I looked at the registry, he was still the only user listed. I was able to verify that he was doing a send receive to the internet, as I was looking at his project history online while talking with him, and when he did a send/receive, the history showed that a repository push had just been done.
So for some reason, though the Users Roles and permissions dialogue shows that users have been added, those users are not getting sent to the repository. Anyone else run into this issue, or have a solution?
The user was using version 8.0.100.12
Thanks

If the project is not sensitive, can you give us it’s name so we can look into the problem?

The project is GAT
Thanks

The problem is that some information is missing from the project settings
that connects the project to the registry.

I’ve seen this one other time, but haven’t been able to determine why it
happens.

I’ll send some repair instructions off list.
