Problem with pasting images in Support.Bible

Question

Yesterday i copied a screenshot to the clipboard and pasted  it into my question. Today I copy another sccreenshot to the clipboar but when I paste I see yesterday's screen shot.
This is todays screen shot if I save it to a file on my computer and upload it:

but when I copy it to the clipboard and paste, I get this one from yesterday.

This does look weird. I want to understand what happened in more detail.

Here is what I think you are saying.

1. Use "image upload" icon to upload image to edit window and click save

2. Wait a day

3. Copy and paste same image to edit window and click save

4. Observe a different image (2nd one)

Let me know if this is correct.

Please look at the issue "Test - copy and paste image response"

The top image was done using the image upload icon and the bottom

image was done using copy and paste. How is this different from

what you are seeing ?

No, what I mean is this:

1) copy and paste an image to a post.

2) do a number of other things or activities

3) create a new post or comment

4) select a different image and copy it to the clipboard

5) paste into the new post. Rather than pasting the new image in the clipboard, the image you pasted in step 1 reappears even if  you spent a whole day in step 2

but did not get your results. Did your results happen more than once

with different images?

So it is clear that something isn't right (as whatever image Steve posted the second time doesn't show up for other users).

My other complaint is that when I post an image it automatically changes the resolution significantly which means that everything is fuzzy, and not like the original image. When we have fine details, these are lost completely.

I will paste a second image here now (which appears to work when I'm pasting it):

It seems to only resize graphics larger than a certain (max?) size. The 2nd image above is clear enough. But the 1st one is fuzzy. Now I will try another (wide) image to see what happens.

Yup, the auto-resize kicks in if you cross a certain threshold in width. Notice that the aspect ratio is also changed, which makes it look even worse.

Now to try a smaller image:

The next copy and paste tests compare small images and large images.

Small images (below a threshold) seem to paste well. Large images get blurred.

I have tried snippet and greenshot apps. 

DOES EVERYBODY SEE ALL THE IMAGES? Is the resolution what you

would expect?
