The adapt name tool contains names from English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Indonesian, and Chinese that you choose for adaptation. However, the tool is unable to adapt multiple letter combinations. I would like to do this outside of Paratext in a spreadsheet. Can anyone tell me where in PT files can I find the name lists that are used for this tool?

The adapt name tool uses the names from the BiblicalTermsxx.xml files found in the Paratext program files. Extreme caution should be used with these files.

C:\Program Files\Paratext 9\Terms\Lists  (the folder will depend upon what version of Paratext you have installed)
