A long standing issue is when translators have a FLEx project connected to their PT Project, and the PT Admin tries to modify the PT Project Properties but is unable save any changes because they do not have FLEx installed, and therefore do not have the FLEx project.

I understand the PT admin could install FLEx and sync the FLEx project, but the PT Admin does not use/need the FLEx project., so this very laborious for them.

I think there needs to be a way for PT Admins to do their role, without being limited by the lack of linguistic SW being installed/configured on their system.

In [Phone Removed], which is what I am , it is possible to specify No to having any linked Lexical Project, under Project Properties and Settings.

You do have to be an administrator, I believe, or it may work if you are a consultant, to take temporary administrator privileges.

Will that change it to “None” for anybody on the project though?

james_post, as far as I know, it only changes it for you in your own copy of Paratext.

I remember this from before. I’m assuming I agree this is a frustration.

@listentwice Would you be able to write it up using the Help > Give Feedback?

I think you only have that option as as admin, and as admin your change would effect entire team.

This is correct.
