Is there an easy way to exit a search (find) list such as following:

I am able to return to the full translation if i reopen the resource, but it‘s not intuitive (IMO).

At the top of the pane you can see that the selected window has two items (one on top of the other). At the bottom of the window you can see that the CMO_KBT has been minimized. You can click on the down arrow to expand the window.

You might want to take a look at the PT Lite videos found at: Getting Started with Paratext Lite Videos - Paratext Lite

There is one that specifically covers arranging windows.

Ok, I see now. Because I had our back translation open in the bottom pane, I couldn’t select “Open results in new pane”. If I leave the lower pane empty then I’m able to select “Open results in new pane” and it works great. Thanks for the reply. And, I will have another look at the PT Lite videos!
