This is the information found on the paratext.org site:
The registration status of the currently active project window determines your level of access to Paratext features. The level of access can be different for different projects on your computer.

  1. Basic Tier: Unregistered projects have access to a basic set of Paratext features. Technical support is not provided for these projects.
  2. Translator Tier: Registered projects gain immediate access to the features of the Translator Tier, including technical support. Within two weeks, the organization’s registration reviewer is notified to verify the details of the registration.
  3. Publisher Tier: After two weeks of internal review, the registry reviewers in other Paratext organizations are notified and have 28 days to review the registration. If no issues are signaled, the project passes to the Publisher Tier.
