I have been using Paratext on my Mac using Parallels. When I open up Paratext, the texts there including Interface are a bit blurred, unlike other text on other programs. The Paratext icon is very clear on the desktop, but when it is opened, the texts in it are not clear. When I run other programs on Windows, I don’t have the same issue. Only Paratext has this issue. Has anyone encountered the same problem? Can anyone help me to resolve this issue? Changing the font didn’t help. I put two screenshots for comparison below. Thank you.

This sounds like a problem with scaling. There are two different places you can change things:
(1) in Parallels: Configuration…Graphics…Resolution. (If the machine is running, then View…Retina Resolution). There are three options here. On my setup I can’t really see a difference between “Scaled”, “Best for Retina display” or “Best for external displays” but for your setup maybe it would make a difference. You will probably need to shutdown Windows to see the change.

If you don’t get satisfaction with the Parallels settings, you might have success with changing the scaling options for just Paratext:
(2) Right-click on the Paratext icon, click Properties…Compatibility…Change high DPI settings. I see two checkboxes and they’re both unchecked on my computer. Note also the link to “Open Advanced scaling settings.” I think these "Advanced scaling settings” get adjusted by Parallels automatically when you change the settings in (1)

I hope you find the solution.

Yeah~ Thank you so much LivingField for your advice! The solution (2) worked, so now I have a very clear view with a retina resolution! I had to zoom each window up to 200% because the original size was too small. But zooming up does’t change the resolution and it’s still very clear. Thank you so much! Blessings~
