In a figure there are attributes like alt, src, size and ref. The markers check in Paratext 9 claims that these are unknown. This did not happen in Paratext 8. It does not seem to make a difference whether it is USFM 2 or 3. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately, the most likely cause of this problem (based on what we’ve seen) is an update or installation of Paratext 8 replacing the usfm.sty file installed by Paratext 9. You’ll either have to reinstall PT9 or find someone else’s usfm.sty file and copy it over.

EDIT: Here is a copy: usfm3.sty.zip (10.1 KB)

Thank you. I did some more checking. First I noticed that the style sheet has the line #!\Attributes src size ref ?alt ?loc ?copy under the marker fig. I wonder about the # here, but that is not causing the problem.

I also noticed that I only had the problem in one of my projects, and then I discovered that another usfm.sty had been added in the data folder for this project. I have no idea how this file came to be there, but once it was renamed, the problem disappeared.

The file you sent has the same size (89 kb) as the one I had in My Paratext 8 Projects folder and they seem to be identical.
